Jiangsu medical market has great potential

Jiangsu Province is the second largest province in China in terms of economy and population. By the end of 18, there were 33254 health institutions of various types in the province. All kinds of health institutions have 490800 beds and 590000 health technicians. The primary health service system in urban and rural areas has been improved. Rural medical service centers should be fully covered. The coverage rate of the new rural cooperative medical system is over 98%. Comprehensive reform of public hospitals was launched. The government's investment in medical and health care has been further increased. This year, the provincial financial arrangements for general public budget medical and health expenditure increased by 26.1% compared with last year, higher than the growth rate of 10.7% of provincial general public budget revenue. In 2018, the total expenditure of medical and health institutions in the whole province reached 298.465 billion yuan, an increase of 30.413 billion yuan or 11.35% over 2017.
